There are two types of counts - Geographic and Demographic.
The Geographic and Demographic data available for the TelcoCD 2005 is the same for both the Standard Version and the Premium Version.

The Geographic counts deal with the fact that the telephone geographies are overlapping. Thus the same area may have two or more different Prefixes (or even Area Code). And one Prefix may be associated with more than one area.

For example, NPANXX 732651 (our office) is associated with at least three different towns (MCD's) it is primarily linked to 3419000 (East Brunswick NJ), but it is also associated with 3465790 (Sayreville NJ) and 3469420 (South River NJ).

When we look at the MCD of East Brunswick it is associated with 15 different NPANXX's (732-238, 732-251, 732-254 etc.)

The Geographic fields give the user the 3 top areas covered by the geography.
